Gemma seemed really confused during these sixty-two pages. I do not feel that I know her very well, which is is something that good authors are supposed to make you feel. I expect that I will get to know her better and be able to understand her side of the story a lot easier as the book progresses. I guess that she seemed out of it for this part of the book because she too had no clue what was going on. Honestly, I feel as if she had a feeling that Ty was going to take her, but she was just too angry with her parents to care. I would never have acted the way she did with Ty by trusting him. If I had noticed someone staring intensly at me, I would have gone back to my parents and avoided the person. Never in my life would I have trusted him and talked to him. In my opinion, I think that Gemma is very careless. To back up that statement, I have multiple reasons to believe that. For one reason, she trusted a stranger, who seemed very suspicious. Secondly, she walked around carelessly, and she did not even seem to really know what was going on with her life. Yes, I understand that when you are confused you can be very careless, but I do not know anyonme that would be as careless as her. I would like to see Gemma show a little more strength and intelligence in the coming parts of the book.
